The interesting part of the journey through this population is in tasting its delicious typical dishes of the neighbor country and taste its delicious sweets. Its tourist attraction is to visit the lakes of Saravia, the rubber crops, an Indian culture museum of the Tikuna, its dust filled streets, they logically speak Portuguese, and it is a small town located through the river 25 kms of Leticia, until reaching the mouth of the Yavari River.

Community or Indian ethno of the Colombian and Peruvian Amazons. Currently, they are scattered in various regions of the Amazons, living in the region known as the Colombian Middle Amazons, in the frontier with Colombia.
Their housing style is the maloca, an oval construction, of big dimensions with two entries that are facing the east. In the center of it, you can find a place where men meet to do the ceremonies and rituals; there they chew on coke and ambil, a tobacco extract. The maloca is the center of social and ceremonial life of the Huitoto. It is located eight kilometers, by car from Leticia – Tarapacá. |

It is a sanctuary of fauna and flora of the nation, located in front of the township of Santa Sofía, characterized by its great variety of monkeys that it keeps. There you can observe the flora in contras of the fauna, making it a very interesting place for the visitor. It has an incalculable number of yellow feet monkeys, which appear on the trees as an answer to the whistles of the guides and the offering of bananas; there you can interact with them. The island is located 35 kilometers on the water, north of Leticia.
They do a jungle walk where you can interact with the environment, getting to know the culture and customs of each of the communities. |

2 kms from Leticia, these are not conventional lakes, they are big natural river bays, the water is tranquil, stagnant and very clean, in it the blue of the sky is reflected and the beautiful amazons sunsets.
Victoria amazónica, also called Victoria regia, its a lily or water lily, the biggest of all water lotus, native of the shallow waters of the Amazons. |

It is the second municipality of the department of Amazons, known as the "Pesebre Natural de Colombia" (Colombian natural manger) and it is located at around 87 km from Leticia through the river, it has an imminent tourist vocation, where you can feel the peace of nature: on the streets you can not use motorized vehicles and in their territory you can find 21 Indian communities of the reservation made up of the Tikuna, Cocama and Yagua ethnics.
It has the Lago Tarapoto, place of habitat of the Pink Dolphin, unique specie of the World. |

Natural National Park Amacayacu |

It is a natural park in Colombia close to the Amazon River; it occupies a big part of the so called “Amazon Trapeze” in the southern edge of the department of Amazon. The name "Amacayacu" means “Hammocks Rivers” in the Quechua native language. This park is an important natural reserve of the Colombian Amazon. You can find diversity of trees of Caoba, Rubber, Balsa, Ceiba and Red and white Cedar. |
